What Is Laser Tattoo Removal?
Laser tattoo removal is a non-invasive treatment that breaks down ink particles beneath the skin so your body can naturally eliminate them. Using high-powered, ultra-short pulses of light energy, the treatment targets and fragments the pigment in the tattoo without harming the surrounding skin.
How Laser Tattoo Removal Works
Our system uses advanced Q-switched or picosecond laser technology, which delivers energy at specific wavelengths based on the color of the tattoo ink. When the laser hits the pigment, it shatters the ink particles into tiny fragments. Over the weeks following treatment, your body’s lymphatic system gradually flushes the ink away. Multiple sessions are typically needed, spaced several weeks apart, to achieve optimal results.
Laser tattoo removal can treat tattoos of various sizes, colors, and ages—and is effective for both professional and amateur ink. We customize each treatment based on your skin type, tattoo characteristics, and goals, whether it’s full removal or partial fading for a redesign.
